![]() Given that the PC gaming marketplace is becoming an increasingly crowded space thanks to recent competitors like the Epic Games Store, it doesn't come as too much of a surprise that Razer didn't seem to be able to find their way into the space, especially given that they are more well-known for hardware. ![]() In addition to games that have already been purchased by users, Razer also confirmed that any pre-ordered titles through the Razer Game Store will still be fulfilled and delivered to users upon their release. In an FAQ section for the announcement, Razer confirmed that all games that users have purchased/redeemed from the Razer Game Store following the closure will still be available for download (through either Steam or Uplay), but users must redeem any codes they haven't yet by February 28. After restarting my computer and turning on my headset, I started hearing a crackling sound. According to Razer, the Store's shutdown comes as a result of the "company's realignment plans," adding that the company will instead be "investing in other ways to deliver great content and introduce game promotions through Razer Gold," which is their virtual credits/reward system. ![]()
